2024 Year in Review
2024 has been a pivotal year for Creation Productions Limited, characterized by a series of notable achievements and milestones. We successfully finalized our operations at Voisey’s Bay, situated in the remote region of Northern Labrador. Throughout our engagement, we provided essential on-site Underground Planning & Scheduling services, which are vital for the effective management of such a complex mine expansion. This project was not merely a routine endeavor; it represented a key component of a substantial multi-billion dollar upgrade aimed at optimizing mining operations and facilities at the site, underscoring our dedication to innovation and excellence within the industry.
In 2024, our collaboration with BuildNS resulted in the development of an Integrated Schedule for Healthcare Projects in Cape Breton. This schedule outlines construction plans projected for the upcoming years. Additionally, we partnered on the initial phase of a Construction Resource Management Plan for Cape Breton, which assesses the demand for construction labor resources. The model forecasts requirements based on planned projects over the next few years. Our objective is to present this information alongside the available resource numbers, facilitating strategic scheduling and effective resource management for major projects.
We completed preliminary planning/scheduling work for a pending oil refinery turnaround project. This turnaround is tentatively planned for 2025. Meanwhile, our involvement in the mining industry continues. Throughout 2024, we continued our service provision relating to mine expansion projects in Manitoba.
Internal Success
Creation Productions Limited grew significantly in 2024! We DOUBLED our staff numbers to keep up with the growth in our portfolio. We anticipate steady growth and we are pleased to be adding to the services that we can offer our clients.
